nebula is a lighting fixture inspired by MIT Media Lab’s Mitchel Resnick and his essay, Stars. An LED bulb acts as the nucleus of this metaphysical structure. When illuminated, simple interactions generate complex relationships, forming an intricate kinetic lighting network. The surrounding space transforms into a meditative environment. Interchangeable sliding panels create dynamic variations in illumination. By repositioning nebula and manipulating its panels, the viewer has the capacity to shape the perceptual experience, exploring the fluid interplay of light, form, and spatial presence.
